Semana Internacional do Politécnico de Leiria (IPLeiria), organizada com o objetivo de promover, interna e externamente, a internacionalização do Instituto, a multiculturalidade e a troca de saberes e de experiências entre diversas nacionalidades.
Além dos 800 estudantes internacionais que frequentam ciclos de estudos completos ou programas de mobilidade no IPLeiria, o evento conta com a participação de aproximadamente 70 professores e pessoal técnico de 19 países.
Durante os dias serão dinamizadas inúmeras atividades destinadas a estudantes, docentes e colaboradores do IPLeiria, 
promovendo a ligação aos participantes das instituições de ensino superior europeias que nos visitam esta semana.
Jantar da Semana Internacional
A cantina da Escola Superior de Artes e Design das Caldas transformou-se num espaço tipicamente português, onde os convidados da Semana Internacional se sentiram muito próximos da cultura portuguesa.
A gastronomia envolveu sabores de diferentes regiões, mas a decoração foi tipicamente portuguesa. A noite foi acompanhada pela guitarra e voz de um antigo estudante da ESAD.CR e também pela voz de uma aluna, que encantou todos com a sua voz fadista.
O tempo passou a correr e os convidados foram embora com um sorriso que se notava à distância.

Semana Internacional/International Week
No dia 2 de Maio tem lugar, na ESAD.CR, o início da Semana Internacional. O evento prolonga-se até dia 6 de Maio.
A Semana Internacional/International Week do IPLeiria – ESAD.CR – apresenta diversos workshop’s, exposições, conversas e convívios.
Semana Internacional
A “Semana Internacional” decorreu entre 4 e 7 de maio. Esta semana contou com sessões de esclarecimento, uma visita de professores e funcionários de universidades estrangeiras, uma exposição de trabalhos dos alunos incoming na biblioteca e o jantar internacional. O jantar internacional teve pratos típicos de outros países e teve animação musical proporcionada por um aluno e o seu acordeão.
Workshop de Cerâmica e Serigrafia
Entre o mês de fevereiro e o mês de março, decorreram nas oficinas de serigrafia e gravura e a oficina cerâmica dois workshops com os alunos de Erasmus. O workshop de cerâmica tem o nome de “Shapping Words”, onde as palavras e as formas foram fontes de inspiração para os alunos. Foi atribuída a cada aluno uma forma e uma palavra. O workshop de serigrafia e gravura com o nome “Artist Book – Print Workshop” conta a viagem de cada um dos alunos através de livros acordeão com materiais reciclados. Após o final destes workshops foi organizada uma exposição inserida na semana internacional.
Semana Internacional ESAD.CR – o diálogo de culturas.
A “Semana Internacional” é composta por um conjunto de iniciativas que visam divulgar e incentivar o interesse da comunidade académica pela mobilidade internacional. Através de um conjunto de atividades, as quais incluíram a apresentação de trabalhos de estudantes outgoing/incoming, fomentou-se a integração dos estudantes estrangeiros.
Com a receção de um grupo significativo de participantes das Escolas parceiras Erasmus do IPL e a realização de workshops e “aulas abertas”, estimulou-se o interesse de estudantes, docentes e funcionários pelos programas de mobilidade. O jantar internacional fechou o programa com um convívio animado.

Durante a semana de 6 a 10 de maio de 2013 o IPL realizou uma semana internacional, cada campus tinha um dia estipulado para realizar atividades dedicadas ao tema.

O Dia Internacional Foi Aqui! || The International Day Happened Here!
A ESAD.CR/IPL tomou a iniciativa de realizar um Dia Internacional, que teve lugar nos dias 20 e 21 de Maio de 2010, com o objectivo principal de proporcionar a toda a comunidade um encontro de diversidade cultural.
The ESAD.CR/IPL has taken the initiative to realize an International Day, held on 20 and 21 May 2010, with the primary purpose of providing to the all community a meeting of cultural diversity.
O programa passou por sessões de divulgação sobre temas relacionados com a mobilidade, com a presença das agências nacionais da área; sessões de troca de experiências e debate apresentado pelos estudantes, sobre as suas vivências no período da mobilidade; o Momento Europa, o Momento América; o Momento África e o Momento Ásia; como também exposições de trabalhos dos estudantes Outgoing e Incoming e de material de divulgação de cada país parceiro na mobilidade.
The program went through dissemination sessions on topics related to mobility, with the presence of national agencies in the area; sessions to exchange experiences and debate presented by students about their experiences during the period of mobility, the European Moment, the America’s Moment ; the Africa’s Moment and the Asia’s Moment, as well as exhibitions of student work Outgoing and Incoming and published material from each partner country mobility.
À noite o público foi presenteado com uma “noite internacional”. Das 22h00 até as 4h00 puderam dançar ao som de várias bandas e DJs nacionais e internacionais.
In the evening the audience was presented with an “international night”. From 10 p.m. until 4 a.m. the public could dance to national and international bands and DJs.

This year the Student Support Services of IPL present us with the presence of two chefs, that by chance were very friendly. Thank you for allowing the academic community have enjoyed this wonderful dinner.
We cannot leave a word of appreciation to all the staff of Campus 3 Canteen. Always cheerful, dedicated and with a friendly word for everyone. Thank you and we hope to be gifted every day with your contagious smile.
As we can see the menu was full of color, only if eaten with the eyes. Come on Sergio take all the soup! Oh girls forgot the diet. They could not resist! And of course the sweet rice could not fail, because certainly we would have complains!

International Week 2012 in ESAD.CR
It all started a few months ago when the head of the Mobility Office at ESAD.CR, Sandra Taurino, had the brilliant idea of holding the 3rd International Week on ESAD.CR.
Little did she now where she was getting into!
First she had a talk with the incoming students so that they would participate with their work in the International Week. All were willing to cooperate.
We have art coming from various parts of Europe and elsewhere (Italy, Hungary, Spain, Poland, Latvia, Sweden, Slovenia, and Brazil).
The exhibition opened on 07/05/12 at 4h30 p.m. and was held until 11/05/12 at the Hall of the Auditorium of EP1.
On May 9 – Europe Day – The ESAD.CR received the ERASMUS FILM FEST.
This festival was organized by ESAD.CR and ESTM. During the morning there was the awards ceremony of the festival (http://www.giturprojects.com/erasmus-film-fest/).
The awards ceremony concluded with two musical moments. Two students of ESAD.CR played Libertango from Astor Piazzolla (Luís Paixão, on the accordion, 3rd year of Fine Arts and João Dionísio, on the trumpet, 2nd year of Sound and Image).
Then we had traditional Jewish music, played by António Casal on percussion and Manuel Lemos on clarinet.
This duo come from a series of concerts sponsored by the Choir of Leiria, and is dedicated to playing so many unique and creative themes of popular Jewish music.
After all these stars, we had a relaxing moment enjoying a fine codfish meal. The whole buffet was prepared and cooked by students of the School of Tourism and Hospitality of Caldas da Rainha.
But that was not the end of it!
At 3:00 p.m. a ZEN moment, with YOGA class in the pine forest.
Throughout the day students of ESAD.CR done a fantastic action of entrepreneurship, a FLEA MARKET (2nd edition). At the fair you could find everything, from clothes to cabbage juice!
And we’re not over!
At 8:00 p.m. dinner was served in the cafeteria of the campus. We had three fabulous dishes prepared by the fantastic team of our cafeteria. We would like to thank the Social Services of the IPL for her unconditional support.
And finally, nothing better than a nice jolt to lose some calories. The Association of Student ESAD.CR gave a dance class FOLK.
